🚚 Shipping & Returns
Free shipping anywhere in the USA. Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days and delivered in 3 to 5 days by FedEx, so you are looking at 4–7 business days from checkout to your living room. The table ships flat in a padded, double-walled carton.
Returns are accepted within 30 days. The table needs to be unused, in its original packaging with labels intact, and we ask for your receipt plus photos of the packaging when you open a return. Full policy on the returns page.
🛡️ Warranty
Every table is covered by our 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects in the base, glass, and hardware. If something is wrong out of the box, send us photos and we make it right. That matches the cover Herman Miller gives the genuine table.
💖 Care Instruction
- Glass top: any standard glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Nothing abrasive.
- Wood base: wipe with a barely damp cloth, then dry. No furniture polish needed on the hand-rubbed finish.
- Keep solvents and nail-polish remover off the wood; they mark the finish.
- Felt pads under the base halves protect hard floors and make small adjustments easier.
- The glass lifts off in one piece; move the table as three parts, never drag it assembled.
A Sculpture First, a Coffee Table Second
Isamu Noguchi was a sculptor before he was a furniture designer, and it shows.
Designed in 1944, in production at Herman Miller since 1947, and never out of it since: two identical wooden shapes, one sheet of curved glass, and a silhouette that reads differently from every seat in the room.
Ours follows the 1944 form faithfully, down to the angle where the base halves meet.
Glass You Could Judge With a Ruler
Cheap replicas give themselves away at the glass edge: 10 to 15mm thin, and the table looks starved in person. Ours matches the genuine table’s 19mm exactly, ground smooth and load-tested to 600 pounds.
One deliberate difference: we use tempered glass instead of plate. If it ever breaks, it crumbles into blunt pebbles rather than shards, which matters in a home with children.
Solid Wood, Four Ways to Finish the Room
Photos cannot show what a base is made of, so most replicas cheat there: MDF and veneer look identical in a listing, then swell and wobble where the halves interlock.
Ours is solid wood through and through, hand-finished in dark walnut, light walnut, ashwood, or black. Two identical sculpted halves, one satin-nickel steel pin, and the tripod stands planted and steady.

The Noguchi Look, Within Reach
Honesty is the house rule, so here it is plainly. A genuine Noguchi carries three marks: the signature on the glass edge, a medallion under the base, and initials stamped in the wood.
Ours carries none, because it is a reproduction and says so. What you get is the look, the solid wood, and the thick glass for about a quarter of the $3,195 to $3,495 the genuine table lists for.
If the marks matter to you, buy the original. If the design is the point, this is the sensible way to own it.
From the USA to Your Living Room
In stock in our California and New Jersey warehouses, not in a factory queue overseas.
We process orders in 1 to 2 business days and FedEx delivers 3 to 5 days later, free anywhere in the USA.
It ships flat in a double-walled carton with foam around the glass and each base half.
Sized for Real Living Rooms
At 50.9 by 36.1 by 15.7 inches, it sits at classic coffee-table height and suits anything from a loveseat up. The freeform shape earns its keep in small rooms: no corners to catch a shin, and the glass top keeps sightlines open so the room reads bigger.
Just check the 36.1-inch width against your walkway; the curves buy back more clearance than the number suggests.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our team is here to help every day, 24/7
Have a question? We’re just a message away. Email us at [email protected], and we’ll get back to you shortly.
Is the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table an original?
No, and we will never pretend otherwise. This is a faithful reproduction of the 1944 design. Genuine tables from Herman Miller carry Noguchi’s signature on the glass edge and a medallion under the base; ours carries neither and costs about a quarter as much. If you want the marks and the provenance, we genuinely recommend the original.
How does the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table compare in price?
Herman Miller currently lists the genuine Noguchi Table from $2,556 during its promotion, with regular prices from $3,195. Ours is $799.95 with free US shipping: a saving of more than $1,750 against the current starting price. Comparison checked October 29, 2026; original prices and promotions can change.
What glass does the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table use?
19mm (0.80 inches) tempered glass, slightly thicker than the genuine table’s 19mm plate glass. Tempered glass is the safety choice: in the rare event it breaks, it crumbles into blunt pieces rather than shards. The curved freeform edge is ground smooth, with no sharp corners anywhere on the table.
Is the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table base solid wood?
Yes. Both halves are solid wood, hand-finished, in your choice of dark walnut, light walnut, ashwood, or black. No MDF, no veneer. The halves interlock and are held by a satin-nickel steel pin, so the tripod stands without wobble.
Does the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table need assembly?
Three pieces, no screws, under ten minutes. Stand one base half, slot in the second, drop the pin, lay the glass. There is a step-by-step video on this page, and the only real advice is to lift the glass with two people.
Will the Daedalus Noguchi Coffee Table fit my living room?
The footprint is 50.9 by 36.1 inches at 15.7 inches high, which suits most sofas from a loveseat up. The curved shape leaves more walking clearance than a rectangular table of the same size, and the glass top keeps a small room feeling open.
REPRODUCTION CLARIFICATION
