Noguchi coffee table tempered glass top and beveled lower shelf are securely attached to satin-nickel steel legs – better heat resistance and wear resistance than other ordinary glass. Noguchi coffee table can hold up to 330lbs.

Noguchi coffee table features elegant, curved lines designed on the edges, which prevent scratching, especially for your kids. The solid wood frame displays a warm pecan finish and supports a tempered glass tabletop, creating a clean and open look.

Isamu Noguchi was a sculptor before he was a furniture designer, and it shows.
Designed in 1944, in production at Herman Miller since 1947, and never out of it since: two identical wooden shapes, one sheet of curved glass, and a silhouette that reads differently from every seat in the room.
Ours follows the 1944 form faithfully, down to the angle where the base halves meet.
Cheap replicas give themselves away at the glass edge: 10 to 15mm thin, and the table looks starved in person. Ours matches the genuine table’s 19mm exactly, ground smooth and load-tested to 600 pounds.
One deliberate difference: we use tempered glass instead of plate. If it ever breaks, it crumbles into blunt pebbles rather than shards, which matters in a home with children.
Photos cannot show what a base is made of, so most replicas cheat there: MDF and veneer look identical in a listing, then swell and wobble where the halves interlock.
Ours is solid wood through and through, hand-finished in dark walnut, light walnut, ashwood, or black. Two identical sculpted halves, one satin-nickel steel pin, and the tripod stands planted and steady.
Honesty is the house rule, so here it is plainly. A genuine Noguchi carries three marks: the signature on the glass edge, a medallion under the base, and initials stamped in the wood.
Ours carries none, because it is a reproduction and says so. What you get is the look, the solid wood, and the thick glass for about a quarter of the $2,895 to $3,195 the genuine table lists for.
If the marks matter to you, buy the original. If the design is the point, this is the sensible way to own it.
In stock in our California and New Jersey warehouses, not in a factory queue overseas.

It ships flat in a double-walled carton with foam around the glass and each base half.
At 50 by 37.5 by 16 inches, it sits at classic coffee-table height and suits anything from a loveseat up. The freeform shape earns its keep in small rooms: no corners to catch a shin, and the glass top keeps sightlines open so the room reads bigger.
Just check the 37.5-inch width against your walkway; the curves buy back more clearance than the number suggests.
